I own a beauty supply store if your not black don't straighten your hair the it will look like horse hair it will still be freezy.
Anyway try this I know your going to think gross but I was surprised anyway I straighten mine with a flat iron I sell and it is only 30 dollars anyway it is really cold here and I been afraid to wash it that I would get sick so I did not wash it for about 3 weeks! really I wash my hair usually every day but for some reason every morning I was like no I don't want to get sick today.
I was surprised my hair stayed straight it did not feel oily or smell.
I used wave nevue wave lotion on it and I was good to go!

I am telling you your hair does not need to be washed that much I just learned this trick and I had hair straight for so long I actually missed my curls

You can buy a chemical straightener at any drug store. If your hair is in good condition and you're not worried about frying it, I'd say go for it. If your hair is already fried it might damage it too much.

DONT permantently straighten your hair! this girl at my school did it and her hair is straight but looks like horse hair and is always poofy and looks liek crap.
honestly just get a good striaghtener. thats what i do.

Leave the straightening to the pros. They can create LOTS of damage. I have witnessed the worst.
