I just recently had a perm done but I would like to have my hair straight for an occasion coming up. I was wondering if I were to straighten it or blow dry it; would my perm be ruined?

Yes. I have had a perm and it is ok to straighten it. Just blow dry first and then straighten the hair. It will not be ruined.

No, your hair will be fine if you straighten it. I did that all the time when my hair was permed... actually I liked it because when I wore my hair curly again it toned down the curls and made them look more natural.

Yeah you can..however as perming dries your hair out..alot of heat will damage it even more. So make sure you use a heat defence spray and a mosture repair serum =] x
