my hair is curly and i had highlights put in exactly one week from today. i was wondering if it would be damaging to my hair for me to straighten in today.

I straighten my hair the same day I get it highlighted and it's always fine. I use a protective spray but I mostly use that because it makes my hair softer.

nope.. just make sure you use alot of heat protecting stuff for your hair. I get my hair bleached every 2 months and straighten it everyday.

No it'll be fine. If you want you can just use hair straightening heat protection stuff, but I personallyd on't like it. I have straightened my hiar almost every day for three years now and they say it damages you hair but really it doesn't. Every body tells me I have soft pretty hair, so you'll be fine!!
