well my hair is like curly on the bottom a bit so I want to straighten it. but my mom said if i put my hair up like in a high pony tail or bun my hair would bend and I will need to straighten my hair again.
If not then is there anything to help my hair stay a least a bit staighter

If its curly in the bottom, putting your hair up in a pony tail or bun should look pretty hot/cute. try some "leave on" conditioner if the one you're using aint helping much, specifically on the bottom parts

well a way of gettin your hair straight without using striaghteners as much is prehaps using the hair dryer.
dry it striaght or buy one of those add ons that have a sort of comb thing that strighten your hair for you. its betetr than straighteners because your hair its wet so it doesnt burn as much.
