have the same problem...i smooth down the unruly spots with just a dab of biosilk...you can also put it on your hair weto or dry before you straighten it. it helps control heat damage. it's made by farouk and you can buy it at any salon or most target stores.

You're ends are probably dying from heat damage, try getting your hair trimmed and blowdrying it instead of straightening it like with a Chi iron. If you don't want to blowdry it, Chi makes some spray that protects your hair from damage (supposedly). I straightened my hair for two years and towards the end it started looking horrible, all sticking up at the top and broken, maybe you should just get a hair cut and start over with new ends. Straight hair isn't THAT attractive anyway, try going natural :)

Take a small amount(about the size of a pea) of conditioner and use it to lay the hair down!

Trim it, your ends have split from the chemicals.

Try using a hot oil solution or a leave in condition.

Biosilk (you can get generic brands to but they are greasy) is good it willgive it a shine and smoothing any split ends you have. It also is good to use on your hair if you are going to use a hot iron of any kind. I recommend using it when your hair is dry.

They also sell straightening shampoos try that next time.

you should try to get a better straightener or get your end trimmed or put some king of gell or hair spray in you hair

you should use a serum before you sraighten your hair and it stops your hair from frizzing. There are lots of different products you can try from your supermarket shelf.hope I have helped a little.

I used to have the same problem! I started using a hair serum when I got out of the shower and my hair was still wet. Start at the ends of your hair and work it up to your roots, than use a paddle brush to blow dry your hair from the roots down. Than flat iron your hair. You only use a dime size amount and it will work all over, even if your hair is really long. I've also learned that the really exspensive stuff isn't always the best. Just pick some up at Sally's Beauty Suppy for $5 bucks.

Go to a local cost-cutters or super-cuts (anywhere where they sell bedhead products) and pick up a wax stick. Basically, its a short, fat, cardboard looking thing (i can totally not remember the name!) that has a yellowish stick inside.

This stuff smooths your hair down after straighting and gives it an awesome but non greasy shine. Its not too expensive and deff. worth it!

Try using a serum before straightening your hair. I had the same problem. I use this oil called Biosilk, it works really great. Just put a drop of it on the layer you will straighten. But like someone else said, natural looks just as good if not better than straight.
