When I straighten my hair . . . ?

Okay --

When I straighten my hair it looks so good for the first housr but then when the 6 - 7 hour school day is over its like wavy. How can I get my hair to stay straight all day??

Thanks 閳?br> Sophiee!

I straighten my hair too. Are you living in a humid area? Sometimes this will do the trick to make it go back curly or frizzy.

What I would use after you straighten your hair is called "Biosilk" (Costco is the cheapest place to purchase I think) This works awesome...

Try that....

Good luck!

When I straighten my hair . . . ?

I have curly hair that i straighten too and being in a place with intense humidity its hard to keep my hair from frizzing or waving back up but i put this stuff in my hair called biosilk, it protects it from waving or frizzing all day long, i got some new stuff called silkening serum by Kenra, very good stuff.

Ohh this used to happen to me ALL the time.

Its annoying, I know.

Well...

It depends on your hair mostly...

If you have layers, to get it to be stick straight %26amp;%26amp; STAY that way, you have to seperate your hair and straighten it layer by layer..

So if you have your hair in, say... 4 layers... Put the top three layers up in a ponytail [%26amp;%26amp; then if you can, pin it to the top of your head to keep the ends out of the way], and straighten the bottom layer. Then, let down all your hair. Then put UP the top 2 layers, and straight ten the bottom and second to bottom layers [yes, straighten the bottom layer again.. there's really no way around it]. Do that for all the layers.

Also, Ive found that seperating ur hair SIDEWAYS works too... Like put your hair in pigtails, and straighten the ends... You'll still have to seperate your hair by layers, but it helps make it easier...

Also, to really get a good straightening, the first time you straighten a strand of hair, run the straightener through SLOWLY, and make sure the pice that you're straghtening is completely pulled out straight... in other words dont let it be just hanging there; pull it straight with a brush or your fingers..

The bottom layers, believe it or not, are the layers Ive found to be the least straight staying.. So make sure you attack them extra : ]

After you have gotten ur hair all straightened, to KEEP it straight all day, CONTINUE straightening it... If you have thick hair, straightening it after it is actually straightened helps to thin it %26amp;%26amp; keep it straight all day long...

For whatever reason, putting gel in my hair doesnt keep it straight.. it curls it for me.. Thats probably just my own thing though.. Hair spray DOES work, you just have to make sure that your hair doesnt have any kinks in it when you spray it.

Hope this helped : D
