my hair is really curly too and i use motions relaxer to smooth the roots (regular formula works best) and then you blow dry comb out and flat iron.. chi is good but jil'bere works good too. if not then just go to a good salon and it will last a long time

I t depends on how long your hair is.

We used to have some clients in our salon w/ wicked curly hair and they wanted straight.

If it's long enough to get a round brush in it , then that's where u start.

have your hair clean and already dry. sometimes "2 nd day hair" works better. use as big as a round brush as you can and still get a little turn in the brush. a brush with a metal barrel is best. it will heat up like an iron.

apply a small amount of a pomade or anti frizz.

stretch it off the scalp and in the desired direction let the brush cool with your hair in it.

I also have very curly hair! I usuall use anti-frizz and let it dry naturally while brushing it. Then I usually use a flat iron or large barrelled curling iron also works. Always use a little more anti frizz after straight and some finishing spray. On humid days - don't even bother
