Yes go and buy you a chi, its kinda like a curling iron but will straightern your hair. they are way better then any straightener thats on the market...

u can get them at hair salons, and I think that target also has started carriying them...but...they are very expensive but they are well worth it. and it won't damage your hair

This may sound tedious, but try using very large rollers. I have tried to make my wavy and frizzy hair curly with curlers, but they were very large and they ended up straightening my hair! What I bought were the large (like Coke can size) velcro curlers at a drug store. I put them in my damp hair and dried them with a warm dryer. I took them out and my hair was pretty straight. You can skip the dryer and just hang out til your hair dries. I also used a little bit of anti frizz serum too just for shine. Doesn't hurt to try it out, it doesn't cost much at all! I used large hair clips to keep the curlers in, not the big bobby pins, which leave dents in the hair.

The "fried" part needs to be trimmed off. But to help prevent further damage you need to use a leave in thermal protector before you blow dry. Also do most of the smoothing in the blow dry with a boar bristle brush. Use the iron to only finish the job. Go over each section only once. Try not to shampoo more than several times a week, not every day. .
