I use the purple one but there are ones that are like 80$ I would suggest a good brand one becausethey don't burn out your hair and (big thumbs up )

secondly your gonna need a good heat protecter I have really wavy hair so I use the Ion product theres a Ion heat protector It works really well and help keep your hair straight ! and you also may need (if your hair is really really curly ) a gel straightner ? is like a product you put in your hair to make it straight after it poofs up a little its really handy when your in humid temperature ! If you have money you can get a CHI or a sedu.

If you are willing to use chemicals you can get the japanese hair straighening system or just a basic relaxer.

If you are looking for a temporary solution just go to the hair section at your beauty supply store or a place like walgreens jewel, walmart k mart etc and go to the hair supply secti0on.. they have tons of flat irons, hot combs, and special blow dryers.

well i have curly hair!!and i would use a chi hair straightner BUTTT b4 u use that on ur hair ALWAYSSSSS get something to put in your hair so it wont get damaged..like catwalk (it's in a purple bottle w\ blue writing that says catwalk on it)and put a generous amont in ur hair then get a de-frizzer and put in that in your hair also (use that stuff so u won get breakage and LOADSS of split ends cuz it will make it look terrable...but if u rlly want it to look GREATTTTTT then like get your hair cut short but not like bald or ne thing leave like 2 1/2 inches orr maybe 3!!and then get some wax and in the bak a little put it down but not like flat and then in the front spike it up more than u did the bak (but still not super flat!!)and kinda spike it to tha side like to the left but like not alot tho.jus a little were u can kinda tell!!
