Can I straighten my chemically relaxed hair?

I have curly hair and it is chemically relaxed. I got my hair chemically relaxed last year in the summer and I am going to put relaxer again after my hair will go back the way it used to be before the relaxer. So, I prefer the relaxer on my curly hair and I want to straighten it. Just once. And will it cause more problems to my hair after I straighten it? Will something bad happen to my hair? And, I have a hair loss BUT it will go away because I am putting oil on my hair every time I go for the shower. And my hair will recover soon. But my question is can I straighten my chemically relaxed hair? And it is still curly hair. And if I am allowed to straighten, then what is the best straightener WITHOUT putting heat in my hair? I don't like the straightener that it put heat to your hair. And thanks so much!!!

You need to use a ceramic hair straightener and use a heat protectant on your hair before straightening.

First, I don't think you should be doing this yourself. Go to a highly recommended hair stylist, and she/he will give you expert advice.

Next, why not just embrace the hair you were born with, and work with what you've got? Curly hair can be really cool.

I straighten my hair once a year with a process called "Japanese straightening". Apparently, they invented it. I have done this since 4 years now but I do have thick hair so I did not suffer any hairloss. My hair is "wavy", not really curly but if I don't do this, I look like the lion of the "Metro Goldwyn Mayer" on rainy days.

The process itself, according to the lenght, takes like 4 hours but you are fine for 4 or 5 month.

Since I've been doing this for quite some time, my hair, got used to the idea of being "flat", which frankly, I like much more. Every 2 month, I go to the hairdresser and she massages my scalp with a treatment of "Cortizone" to keep it healthy and shiny.

Because chemically relaxing the hair does not make it perfectly straight my hairstyles said that if i wanted it to be perfectly straight then i would have to straighten it. So it is ok to do on relaxed hair. but she said that i really have to moisturize it a bunch. she recommended using All Soft by redkin or a moisturizing product by nexxus. she said that i need to use a moisturizing shampoo AND conditioner and if it was still dry use moisture treatments on it about every two weeks. i think doing this would help you with hair loss, if you moisturize it more it won't get brittle and dry out.

Also when you do straighten it use a straighting spray that protects your hair from heat damage.

Chemicals, Drugs, Rogaine庐, Transplants ?

All those unnatural ways to grow hair with harsh chemicals and by plugging in hair transplants are earning huge corporations billions of dollars and doctors hundreds of thousands of dollars each year.

Why would they be foolish enough to promote something that would cost you less than $15 in grocery store stuff that can help to stop hair loss and regrow lost hair ? On top of that, they can鈥檛 make any money off of you from return visits or forcing you to buy their stuff every month for the rest of your life !

Rogaine庐 will set you back $40 a month, about $500 a year 鈥?for life. A hair transplant will cost around $10,000 or so. And the worst thing about them is that if they don鈥檛 work you don鈥檛 get your money back.
