Is there a way to permanantly straighten hair?

I am really bad with my hair so I don't want anything I have to do myself. Is there something I can get done at a salon to make my wavy hair straight? I'm only thirteen so I don't want to use a whole lot of chemicals and I was hoping for something that isn't bad for my hair.

Most salons will permanently straighten your hair, but seeing as you only have wavy hair the solution that they use won't be as strong and as bad for your hair, you usually can't wash, pin or tie up your hair for at least 48 hours. As long as you look after your hair and use weekly treatments it should be fine. But the hairdresser won't permanently straighten your hair if you have bleached hair, and also remember that it grows out with your natural hair and can be quite expensive!
