How can I straighten my hair if i'm sensitive to lye?

I am very sensitive both my skin and scalp.

I like my hair very straight, and i use to relax it all the time and now i just became sensitive or allergic to alot of things.

And Lye is one of them, how can i straighten my hair if i cant use lye, is there anything for people with sensitivity or a high percentage to be allergic to something, so they can straighten there hair?

1. Get lye-free hair relaxers (they exist!)

2. Flat iron

3. Hot comb

4. John Frieda's bone-straight

Hope this helps.

I would recommend just using a flat iron. It's not worth hurting yourself.

get someone else- someone you trust to straigten it for you. its better someone else doing it so they can see your whole head and be carful. im not sure what lye is but a straigtener that gets it SUPER straugt really fast would be a CHI. or get a perm, or use an icy-hot patch and wrap it around your head before you go to sleep, and buy straigtening hair products
