I have a question about when you straighten your hair...?

When I straighten my hair in the morning it looks really nice...but then it gets very snarly and I dont know why it does that cause I just sit in class and it always gets snarly...so do you know what I can do to help stop getting snarly?

maybe if there are any hair stylists out there that can help please? :)

first thing is to make sure your hair is super dry before ironing it. Make sure you use a good smoothing serum or something in between blowdrying and flat ironing. And of course you have to have a really good iron (otherwise your just damaging your hair anyway) like the Chi. that should take care of it

Go to a stylist and let her cut your hair so it doesn't get snarly. You may just have a bad cut Report It

Okay.. Mine does that too.. I sit in class and by 4th hour it is horrible.. What i would do is bring a brush and a portable mirror. That is what i do. .Then maybe in the bathroom or something brush your hair or even do it before class starts, then it should stay tangle free and will look good. But that is just with my hair, you may want to try it.. And also if you use hair spray try a different brand that way it isnt REALLY stiff and gross, but if you dont use any use just a little, too keep your hair from going all over the place but it calms it down. Hope it helps %26lt;3

I get this too and a fresh haircut always helps.

okay definitely have a good flattening iron, second...i have really fine hair and i find this happening, so i use a leave in conditioner, and sometimes i use just a LITTLE bit of bed head hair gel (well, it's not really hair gel, but i dont know what its called) but it's really thin in the round bottle thingy (just ask someone in that department of the store if you cannot find it) and it's not SUPER HOLD, so DO NOT get that one...it will make it bad, believe me...and just put like a quarter size in your palm, smooth it out, then gently rub on your head, no frizz and no fly aways and no snarly look...

Use a good anti-frizz serum before you start straightening. Then as you go about straightening, put a little more serum on each section immediately after you are done with it. That will lock in the style and make it less frizzy. And when you are through with the whole process, just spray your hair lightly with a good quality hair spray.

omg.... that happens to me! ok, well, if you noticed when you spray some hairspray on it it gets frizzy, that's a sign that you didn't iron it good, but don't be spraying every other time until it doesn't poof out, (unless you want your hair to be like plastic-looking...) ,then straighten it again, (if you don't use hairspray, like me) then comb it before you straighten a strand of hair, then after you are done, comb, straighten once more, and then move on. What I think is that, that's really the only thing you can do, but i'm not sure... Sorry I couldn't have been more sure and all!!! At least I tried though.... right???

Well first make sure your hair is dry, then straighten it and last put in some hair spray or gel.
