I straighten my hair almost daily, but i notice my hair is getting a little fried. How can I prevent this??

When you flat iron your hair, try not to run the flat iron over the sections more than twice each, and don't leave the flat iron on your ends too long. The ends are the weakest part of you hair,so make sure you don't stay on that part.

You should purchase a salon quality heat protectant from Folica.com,there are plenty of really good brands to choose from, you may be able to find some at your local grocery store or Wal-Mart that works.

Don't do it daily, if you do it to much the result is getting your hair fried so do it once in two days.

use a heat protector on your hair before straightening it...i use smooth down heat glide from redken(red bottle)..it works really well..very oily so u only need about 2 pumps put it on your hair wet after the shower, or u could put it on after ur hair is dry (before u straighten)....hope this helps :)

There are heat protection products you can buy which protect your hair from getting fried, especially made for people who straighten their hair alot. GHD have a really good range but it's pretty expensive. I think Paul Mitchell and KMS have some good, but less expensive heat shield products as well. If you ask your hairdresses, they will probably know the best ones.

the best way is to not straighten it at all! If you really want to though, only straighten about max. 3 times a week. Then, your hair won't be as fried.
