When i straighten my hair, its more frizzy then it is when its curly. ugh..?

its not as frizzy when its air dried after a shower, then it is when i straighten it.

im not sure how that works, but its wicked embarrassing.

ive tried so many things when i straighten it, but nothing helps to make it pin straight.

i hav color treated, thick thick thick(!) wavy/curly hair naturaly.

what do i do?

well, i would stop trying to straigten it with an iron, because its not working, and maybe, consider getting it chemiclly straightened, but dont do it too musch or you will completely FRY your hair, and that would be more embarrasing than anything else, and you could also go with you curls, and get a big spiral perm, i prefer curly, myself, because i have hella thick hair and its SOOOOO much easier to just go with my Natiralness.

Well, this is going to suck because it's going to sound so tedious, but it usually works.

A good shampoo/conditioner helps. Bumble and Bumble is what I like. Then usuing Rusk Thermal Str8 on wet hair. Frizzease or whatever that crap is SUCKS.

When blow drying, I use an attachement that streams through this attachement that has a comb on the end or a funneled, narrow end along with a large (mine is a ginormous) boar round brush. A lot of people think that they can just use a blow dryer as is but no. You have/must use an attachment so the air isn't blowing all over the place. That's one of the things that causes the dreaded frizz.

After blowdrying, I apply Sebastian Laminates Sheer to my hair. It's like this cream anti static and thermal styler then flat iron. You have to section off your hair and I'm talking small sections. That means section it down the middle then section it from ear to ear so you'll end up with four sections/ four quadrants. Then in those section/quadrants, section them off to even smaller sections. And always start from the bottom and work your way up. A lot of people just want to hurry up and straighten their hair and the results are no straight, slightly frizzed mess. Straightening hair is going to be time consuming if you want it nice, pin straight and frizz free.

Sheesh, this seems long winded! But that's what I do.
