i straighten my hair daily and blow dry it i use sprays and everything but i keep getting horrible dry hair and split ends its really nasty and i dont know what else i can do. please help me. i dont want to spend a lot of money, but i mean anything easy i can do for quick results id really appreciate it!

cut it and start treating your hair with some respect aka stop damaging your hair with blow dryers, sprays, etc....just washand condition it every 2 or so days and your hair should be healthy.

what you could do is to cut back on straightening your hair. it's really bad if you do it everyday. you should let your hair natural for once, and style it. and if you have time, you could get a trim so your split ends won't show that much.

The only thing you should do for split ends is keep them trimmed every six weeks. Whatever quick fix you use is only temporary and it will just keep splitting.

i use kms molding paste. i put it on while my hair is wet. dont put it on your scalp cas then it will look like you have oily hair lol.

Also.. to prevent the speedy return of split ends you could try to blow dry it and straighten it less. Cause using those hair products (hair dryer, hair straightener, curling iron..etc) is frying your hair, it does a lot of damaging.

when you rinse your hair to put it in, rinse it with hot water apply the treatment, then rinse out with cold water!

the heat opens the cuticle, the cold locks in the moisture!

Make sure that you use a deep conditioner once a week to repair that damage that the straightner is doing to your hair. Also make sure to use a heat protectant every tijme you use a blowdryer and a straightner. It will help to protect your hair from the large amount of heat damage. Make sure that you also get regular 6 week trims to get rid of the spilt ends.

I have the same problem. What helps me is washing my hair at night and letting it air dry overnight. I also use the garnier system for strengthening your hair, shampoo, conditioner, and serum. I put the serum in my hair after i towel dry it. In the morning I use Chi (red bottle from trade secret) spray to protect my hair from the flat iron. Also, use a ceramic straightener...not metal. The ceramic is better for your hair. Little bit of garnier hair spray from about 12 inches away to flatten fly aways and you are good to go! Good luck!

Try a deep conditioner, Garnier Fructis is a good one, and also not expensive. But the best advice I could give you is to stop straighting your hair everyday. It damages your hair a lot and can make your hair look really fried.

Split ends are caused when hair is damaged, either by harsh shampoos, too much direct from the sun or a hair dryer, perming or bleaching or very often simply because the tips of hair are very old.

The only cure for split ends is to have them trimmed off; if left, they may split further up the hair, making it look dull and lifeless.

1/2 cup olive oil

1/2 cup boiling water

Place olive oil and boiling water into large glass bottle or jar with a lid. You may need to wrap a towel around the bottle to avoid burning yourself. Shake very well until oil is emulsified. Massage into hair, taking care not to burn your head. Put a shower cap or plastic bag over your hair and wrap your head in a hot towel that has been soaked in hot water then wrung out. Leave mixture on your hair for 1/2 hour, then shampoo as usual.

You must keep your hair trimmed if you are going to continue to straighten it. Buy an old farmers almanac and they give you the best times of the month to cut hair to encourage growth. For Nov. it is 28 and 29....For Dec. it is 2 3 29 and 30 For Jan. 26 and 27 For Feb. it is 22 and 23 and so on and so on. You should also try and inexpensive hot oil treatment. If you can't afford that then go for olive oil just on the ends. This really works. Good luck to you and your hair.

My hair is curly and i straighten it very often which has also given me split end heaven... You should ALWAYS put some product in your hair when it's not drying naturally to help protect it...but i have also started washing my hair everyother day if i am going to wear it straight (that has helped a lot). Something else i find that has helped is if i am planning on going out on the weekend and want my hair straight, i will wear it natural so it straightens nicer :) or vice versa...doing nothing=natural curls

Straitening your hair every day or blow-drying your hair isnt exactly healthy. Try not straightening your hair sometimes, and letting your hair air-dry.

Try using one or two good products instead of loading on hairsprays and lots of other products.

Get your hair trimmed every once in a while, and talk to you Hair-cutter person about it, Im sure they'll have some ideas on how to manage your hair. Don't get over-stressed about your hair.
