How can I straighten my hair without making it look completely fake?

i want to straighten my hair, but everytime i do it always looks really fake and stick-straight. how can i straighten it but make it look natural.

whether it's the way you straighten it, low temp, etc...?

let your hair air dry, straighten it, then maybe use Little bit of mouse and scrunch your hair for a few seconds just to add a little texture back into it. or maybe just try straightening your hair at a very low setting, and not straightening all of the under layers.
